Kelly O’Connell’s wedding day is one that will always hold a special place in her heart. It was a day filled with happiness as she tied the knot with her best friend, but it was also bittersweet as she had to say goodbye to her beloved 15-year-old black Labrador, Charlie Bear. Naturally, Charlie Bear was by her side on this important day.
During a significant event, Charlie Bear would be escorted down the aisle by Kelly’s sister and maid of honour, Katie Lloyd.
Farewell, Charlie Bear. Your memory will live on eternally in our hearts. Sadly, the furry friend was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour in April and passed away on September 9th.
As Jen Dziuvenis captured the moments through her camera lens, tears uncontrollably flowed down her face. Despite being overwhelmed with emotions, she reminded herself to keep taking photos, even though she felt like she was drowning in her own tears behind the camera.
What a beautiful sendoff for her closest companion, who had stuck with her through thick and thin.
